On the eve of the summer edition of French festival Astropolis (Brest, Brittany), its label DÔME reveals once again the energy of the French West Coast scene with a sixth Various EP. Four luminous tracks, from UKG to house, between sensitivity and fury of life.

Already author of two beautiful projects on Human Disease network, Nouveau Monica opens the EP with Amnesia Dance, a UKG track full of textures and emotions reminiscent of the productions of Overmono or Illum Sphere. On a scratched 2-step, the syncopated vocals contrast with a deep and gripping bassline and sensible melody, plunging us into a soft melancholy.

A giddy Need for Speed ride follows with the surprising and unclassifiable Overture from cyberwarrior ÆVEN. The track begins with an almost ceremonial melodic layer punctuated by ghostly voices with hyperpop contours, then takes off with a strong acceleration on a throwback techno rhythm tumbling on dubstep. Full of endorphin!

The third track, Don't, is composed by another Norman already well known on the radar with his releases on Mall Grab's label: Adam BFD and plunges us into luminous and euphoric atmospheres. Throbbing vocals and a power house that will gladly accompany us until nightfall.

Framboisier signs the last track of the EP, and the grooviest, with La Street. A house music ode to long and hot summer evenings, carried by powerful kicks and softened by the elegance of the piano. The young and very promising artist shows a remarkable sense of composition.

A powerful joyride to start summer festivals season!
